Welcome to the Michiana Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America! Our chapter serves Michiana Chapter BMW CCAmembers in western lower Michigan and northern Indiana.

Our purpose as a chapter is rather simple... to promote interest in motoring; to organize and conduct touring activities; to encourage safe and skillful driving; to offer classes, disseminate information, produce various publications, and generally promote activities related to motor touring. Our vehicles of choice are made by BMW. And we have a good deal of fun along the way!

If you are not currently a BMW CCA member, please consider joining, whether or not you own or drive a BMW. (But if you do decide a Bimmer would look good in your driveway, we can even help you find a nearby dealer!)

Your comments and suggestions are always welcomed... as is your participation in any of our activities.

Don’t forget to join our chapter e-mail group to stay connected with whats going on with the Michiana Chapter!

2009 Event Schedule

With the planning meeting fading in our mirrors, we can now look forward to spring (just a month away) and the events that are on the calendar so far.  We have the Spring Dust Off in May, The Fall Color Tour in October and the Holiday Party in December.  If you have attended our chapter events in the past then you know how much fun the Michiana Events are!  If you haven’t yet participated then there is no better time than 2009.  Come on out and make some new friends or catch up with some old ones.

There is also our Autocross events that help you to understand why they call BMW’s the “Ultimate Driving Machines”.  Come out and sharpen you driving skills.  Fun for the first timer or the veteran.  Easy to do and always plenty of people willing to help you learn.  But be careful.  It can be habit forming!

Last but not least…   Is the Street Survival program.  This is a real life saver for our young drivers.  They learn skills over and above the “Drivers Ed” level that let them feel the car as it reacts to their imput and reactions.  If you have a young driver why not sponsor them to attend.  It could save their life!

Check out our calendar, then mark your calendar so you won’t miss all the fun!
